Professional Background
Since moving from Argentina in 1997, I've built a career at the intersection of design, retouching, and photography. "Argento" is what people call us back home—and it became the name behind everything I do. Starting as a graphic designer and retoucher, I went on to work as a photo assistant and photographer with major record labels including Sony Music, BMG, EMI, Univision Records, Fonovisa, and AME, along with countless independent musicians.
Those years in the music industry taught me how to craft the best look for every individual—reading personality, directing expression, and shaping light to bring out what makes someone compelling on camera. That foundation now drives every headshot session at Argento Studio, whether you're an executive, actor, creative professional, or building a team brand.

Bring 3-4 outfit options that reflect your professional image. For executives, consider solid colors and classic styles—jacket/shirt combinations work well. Actors should bring varied looks that showcase range. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, or overly trendy pieces. Comfort is key—if you feel good, you'll look great. We have a steamer available if your clothes need freshening up.
Most sessions run 60-90 minutes. This includes time to review your outfit options, capture multiple looks, and review images together. We never rush—our goal is to capture the perfect shot that represents you at your best. Executive and LinkedIn sessions typically take 60 minutes, while Actor sessions may run up to 90 minutes for more variety.
For women, we highly recommend professional makeup to ensure you look polished on camera. Our makeup artist specializes in natural, camera-ready looks that enhance your features without appearing overdone. For men, we provide light grooming and can help with shine control. Come with your hair styled as you want to present yourself professionally.
Our packages include 3-10 fully retouched final images depending on the service level you choose. Executive packages include 3-5 images, Actor packages include 5-8 images, and LinkedIn packages include 3 images. During the session, we'll review your photos together and you'll select your favorites. All images include professional retouching and high-resolution files.
Every final image receives professional retouching including skin smoothing, blemish removal, color correction, and minor adjustments. We enhance your natural appearance while keeping you looking like yourself. The goal is polished and professional, not overly edited. Additional retouching requests can be accommodated—just let us know your preferences.
You'll receive your professionally retouched images within 5-7 business days via a secure online gallery. Your images will be delivered in high-resolution format, optimized for both print and digital use. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee if you need your images sooner.
Absolutely bring your glasses if you wear them regularly! We have specialized lighting techniques to minimize glare and reflections. Many professionals want headshots both with and without glasses, which we can easily capture during your session. If glasses are part of your professional identity, they should be in your headshot.
Yes! You're welcome to bring one person for moral support. Many clients find it helpful to have a trusted friend or colleague provide feedback during the session. However, we ask that they remain supportive and positive—the session works best when we can focus on you and capture authentic, confident expressions.
Yes, we offer expedited booking for urgent needs. If you need headshots quickly for an upcoming interview, audition, or business event, call us directly at (323) 669-8660. We'll do our best to accommodate rush requests. Rush sessions may include an additional fee depending on availability.
We understand plans change. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your session receive a full refund or can be rescheduled at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% fee. We appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer your time slot to another client.
We combine technical expertise with personalized coaching to bring out your best. Every session includes professional direction to help you feel comfortable and confident. Our studio uses premium lighting and equipment, and we review images with you during the shoot—not after. Plus, our central Los Angeles location makes us easily accessible from anywhere in the metro area.
Yes! All our packages include unlimited commercial licensing. Use your headshots on LinkedIn, company websites, social media, business cards, marketing materials, casting profiles—anywhere you need them. You own the rights to use your images however you wish for personal and professional purposes.
